You have to be your own advocate!! If you are with an HMO, you have to scream even louder!! And HMO could kill you. (Can I say that?) You need a good PPO plan in today's world.
The problem is, that if you report such sleepiness and falling asleep in the middle of a sentence, etc. you could kill someone, or yourself while driving. I'm sure you are aware of that. BUT the doctor can report you to the DMV and have your licensed pulled! I know someone who had their license pulled simply because they were diabetic!
I would file a dispute for charges on the sleep study since it was a farce. You need a sleep study done by the best in the area. I don't know who that would be though. INSIST ON ONE NOW!
