Hi everyone I'm a newbie and I have been recently been diagosed for Sleep apnea which explains alot. For years I have been feeling tired years upon years it seems. I always thought it had something to do with me not being able to sleep at night, I have always had a screwed up sleeping pattern staying up mega late sometimes as late as 4 or 5 my brain won't shut down and I never feel tired that is untill the morning when i feel super groggy after only 4 or 5 hours of sleep. But then again sometimes I get a good pattern in and go to sleep around midnight or 1 am and get a good 7 or 8 hours in I am wondering do insomnia and sleep apnea go hand in hand? I took the sleep apnea test because I am going to see a weight loss surgern. Never thought I'd have it. The doctor told me to continue my diet and excersize required for the weight loss surgery and they would retest in 6 months. hopefully this won't affect the chances of me having the surgery.
My last question is with the CPAP machine does it make you sleep significantly better right off the bat? would it help my insomnia factors? would it be benificial to maybe rent one anyways?
Thanks for reading my story I look forward to hearing your answers
