It is also dependent on the pressure of your machine.
If you have a reasonably high pressure then pillows can be more trouble than what they are worth.A FFM will allow the airflow to be diffused over a larger area, and pillows channel it straight up your snoz.
If you want to use your FFM go and get some comfeel or duoderm and put some over the sore spot on the bridge of your nose.
ALso try getting a new cushion. If the cushion you are using is more than 6 months old then chuck it out or keep it for emergencies.
