You need a "Step Down Voltage Converter 220v to 110v". You can do an online search using those words.
One thing you have to keep in mind is the watts each support. For under $10 US you can get a 50 watt
converter. A 1000 watt converter will cost around $30 US. Check the wattage of your unit and add that
to the search.

Most brick and mortar travel stores carry converters for traveling. Typically they only carry small
watts for electronic razors, radios, portable tape players and similar devices. You could call around
and see what they carry in the UK and if they don't stock high watt converters they may be able to
order one for you.
