I think people die of sleep apnea way more than we think.

A friend just told me a story of a guy that had all the symptoms of severe sleep apnea but would not get it treated. He died in his sleep at the age of 39. The autopsy showed NO clues as to why he died and they concluded "Cause Unknown".

I laugh when I hear statistics that 3% of the population has apnea. I'm sure it's MUCH more than that. Maybe 25% of adults have apnea that should be treated, something like that. Unscientific observation from a simple guy here.
