Got my machine yesterday. Tech came to my house and show'd me how to use the humidifier and we got the mask to fit. Using nasal pillows.
I do think I feel better today than I have in a long time but I'm concerned about the AHI that my machine reported--I was still at a 17. Is this normal for a first night? Should I expect this to improve?
Something I noticed this morning was that I woke up feeling rather alert--this never happens. I woke up around 8:15 which is unusually early. I continued to doze until about 11, but I normally am never up before noon on a weekend. Maybe this is psychological, but I don't know. I am not complaining about this. What I do know is that I really want this therapy to work for me and that I am willing to comply with.
Could someone let me know about my AHI and if I can expect that to improve or if I need to get the tech back over here ASAP.
Thanks.
