You probably have a substantial sleep deficit. It can take several weeks to get back to normal.

Have you tried adjusting to a higher humidification level? I first used the default level that was supposed to work, but needed to adjust it to a higher level. We're all a little different and in different room conditions, so a level that is right for others may not be right for you. As you raise the humidification level, you can get problems with condensation so that the tube spits at you or jerks, but there are solutions (e.g., wrapping the large main tube in a cloth to insulate it-- but don't cover the air vents, or getting a machine with a heated tube). Condensation doesn't necessarily mean that the humidification is too high.
