You did state that the machine is "humidifying." However, you didn't state if it's heated humidification. If it's built-in (or "integrated") or had a separate plug, it's heated. If it's a separate unit with no plug, it's not.

If it's heated, check that the water is warm in the morning (i.e. is it working and do you have it turned on?).

P.S. Compared to the way you felt before, I think that you're much better off!
