Sounds like she has severe sleep apnea. Definitely something that needs to be taken care of quickly
with children. If you aren't able to remove the tonsils/adnoids for six months there is the option
of using CPAP until surgery. CPAP isn't a bad idea pre-surgery. She will be in better physical
shape and there will be less or no edema pre-op making the surgery less risky.

You should ask your sleep lab if they have a loaner you can use until surgery. It isn't a bad idea
to use it after surgery until swelling is gone.
