It is not uncommon for a pulse oximeter not showing OSA. Not everyone desaturate during the
event, especially if your lungs are in good shape and your brain is sensitive to drops in O2.
This is why most good labs don't use just oximeters for screening. If the result is positive
they will need to do a sleep study and if it is negative, it doesn't rule out sleep apnea and
you still have to do a sleep study if symptoms are there.Best wishes,
