seeking cpap machine recommendation

I am recently diagnosed and was given a list of recommendations for CPAP machines. It's been overwhelming to have to pick from the hundreds available and I would appreciate hearing from this group on suggestions which ones to consider and which ones to stay away from and the reasons why.
