I have sleep apnea and high blood preasure, for my blood pressure my doctor has prescribed me Adalat which is a calcium channel blocker nifedipine, basically a muscle relaxant. Can some one please advice me if this is going to worsen my sleep apnea. Has any one got any experience with this drug and apnea. I am really scared of the situation I am in as I had an allergic reaction to another HBP med (Lisinopril ended up blocking my airway with an enlarged uvula). I don't think my Doctor takes sleep apnea as serious as my HBP but to me it is probably the cause. My details Male 5ft5 weight 203 (14 stone something) yes I know I'm overweight but I am eating healthier and exercising And losing weight. Please help me
