Thanks Sandman, I am going to give the Adalat a try tomorrow, the reason I mentioned the
drug is because one of it's side effects is to relax the muscle that prevents food,acid and bile
from escaping the oesophagus back up to the throat. If the drug effects the oesophagus
muscle it could potentially effect any muscles in the airway passage.

My doctor likes to sort out one problem at a time, she is prioritising HBP, I however have
recently discovered that sleep apnea could be the cause of my HBP and getting stressed,
anxiety attacks and lack of sleep is not going to do my HBP any good.

I am going to see her this Monday and request that she make me an appointment to see a
sleep specialist.
