I see you have not had a response here but I will give it a try even though my pap is not exactly the same as yours.

I am using a Respironics Timed BiPap Synchrony Vent Support System (that is printed on the unit).

My problem is mixed apnea and I got help several years ago when I changed to a timed bi pap, have worn out two of them and my present vent is the best of all.

I have no problem with sleep at all. I have a heated humidifier and O2 attached to a trach tube.

The transition to my current pap was very easy, I have no way to try to advise you unless I know the exact trouble you are having.

I would start with the MD and the supplier.
