I am planning a trip that includes two nights at an altitude of 11,000 ft. According to the information that came with my CPAP, the machine has altitude compensation up to 8,000 ft. So my question – to anybody who can answer – is what would happen when I attempt to operate it. I have a call into the vendor, but any information on this topic would be welcome.

To be specific, I have AEIOMED Everest-3 CPAP. I would welcome both general information as well as make and model specific information on this topic.
