I am confused. You had mentioned on the insomnia forum that I might try a machine (if I couldn't get the sleep study at Stanford) to see if it in fact helped and I have uars.
The lady at the sleep study place who loaned me the bipap said to put it on 7 for supposed uars. (But then again, she isn't a dr, just one of the techs or whoever I believe.) I just wanted to double check online since my study showed "mild sleep apnea" as well and I didn't know if the setting would still be 7.
So are you saying doing this is risky? And I need to just get the study at Stanford? That could be months from now and I'm literally on the verge of losing everything so I thought I could start trying the machine in the meantime. But now I don't want to if it is dangerous and could cause some kind of damage to my brain or body.
Should I ask for a cpap instead to try? Would that eliminate the risk?
