CPAP that doesn't beep?

The Philips Respironics machine that my husband uses emits a loud beep on starting the therapy which is really irritating to me, the spouse. Even audible through earplugs.

Can anyone recommend a machine that does not have any kind of beeping or noise on start up? I can't believe the sleep industry would be so stupid to make this part of their system when they advertise its quietness. We are not able to switch the beep off either, this has been confirmed by the manufacturer.
