I wouldn't worry about the side effects....if I worried about side effects I wouldn't be taking any drugs at all. They all have side effects but you need helpnow. Hope the doc who prescribed it was an ENT not your internist. You must see an ENT and your sleep doctor to solve the problem. General practicioners do not fully understand sleep apnea and its side effects.
