Sleep apnea is not a genetic illness per se....but fathers and sons who have the saame facial structure will tend to have the same size openings around the uvula flap and voila---both will have sleep apnea. The son that has the restless leg was an average athlete...good golfer...but a great musician ..plays trumpet and teaches 13 instruments.
