It sounds like you've got a leak blowing in your eyes while you sleep. It may only happen in some positions.

A dry mouth might also indicate that the air is escaping back out your mouth instead of going into your lungs. That happens to because the UPPP surgery ruined the seal at the back of my throat.

I use a 3" wide ACE bandage wrapped around my head so that it also pushes the lower lip shut. It doesn't solve it for me but it does help.
