Posted by D.H. on January 14, 2012 at 10:27:52:I slept-in this morning. I was awaken in the morning by a burning smell. It would appear that the problem was that the reservoir in the humidifier had been exhausted. I refilled it an the odor went away after several minutes and I fell back asleep.
The problem here is that I always run the machine a while in the morning to dry. I guess I should turn off the humidifier or put it on the lowest setting when drying.
What does everybody else do?
Note that the machine is the AEIOmed Everest 3 CPAP. This machine is no longer made.
