I really can't answer how to know if you're not producing enough Seratonin. Studies I read, however, indicate that as males we produce higher levels of Seratonin and use less. So far as I know, Prozac will only help regulate what Seratonin you have manufactured. Except for a recently banned diet drug, no one has come up with a synthetic Seratonin. Suggest you try Cue's advice and check with a shrink. A lot of insurance companies pay better for psychological help than physiological! Be sure to get a referal from a doctor you know and trust.
