Carolyn,

Thanks for the excellent information. I have thought for a long time that sleep apnea is not taken seriously and perhaps studies like this will help doctors understand.

I am also wondering....

I have worn glasses all my life and have gotten increasingly nearsighted. A couple of months ago my vision started to blur and after it got bad enough I went and had an eye exam.

The doctor found my vision had improved by roughly 15%.

It has been 6 weeks since I got my new glasses and my vision is blurry again.

Now this is purely hypothetical but is it possible that since my brain is now getting sufficient oxxygen my vision might be returning to a healthier level too?
