Buying equipment or the price is not always right.

Since my F&P heated humidifier would only hold enough water to last 4 hours, I decided to get a larger cannister for it. Called home health care. Was told F&P didn't make one. I told the rep that I knew they did because someone on this forum had one. He said he would look. Came back with a price of $35. Not bad. Went to them to pick it up. Asked for a spacer since I had lost mine . Had paid $8 for it. Rep gave me two said they were free. Thrill. Rep said my payment was $35. Not bad. Then he said sign this so we can collect the rest from your insurance. Total for one large cannister. Bottle didn't fit my machine. had to go back This is a 40 mile trip. Different rep. Gets the correct bottle for me says they probably cost the same. Ask if I paid already I said yes showed her the paper work. She really freaked out. Tore up the paper work went to the register got my check out tore up the check. Said "those idiots charged you $173 for a plastic bottle. Just take it. Its free. It should come with the machine anyway." Made my day..FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 7 MONTHS I SLEPT 8 HOURS WITHOUT WAKING UP. The water lasted all night.
