My blood pressure also went up when I got the CPAP. I got severe edema and my blood pressure went up to 180 over 120 and that lasted almost 2 months, but now is decreasing dramatically. My doctor said tahe increase was due to the swelling but didn't really have an answer as to why I retained so much water.
