Gene,
I'm so sorry to hear that your surgeries have not been the success that you had thought and that they had been advertised as being by the medical community.
All of the cautionary tales I've read here lately make me wonder - in hindsite, what would you have done differently?
I'm still cautiously optimistic about my longterm success (in other words, 8 weeks later all is still well) but I do see the possibility of further problems down the road. What I am unable to see is how this possibility would change the course of action (UPPP and tonsilectomy) that I took.
Would you have been happy with CPAP forever instead? I'd be very curious to know what other post-op people think, whether or not you've found long term success from surgery.
Best of luck Gene, and please keep us posted. It was your post-op reports that first educated me as I navigated the surgery process.
