What can I say? If you've made up your mind to go for it, I wish that you are one of the lucky ones that it continues to work for.

There are several posts, including mine, on this forum telling of the poor results from UPPP. Ask your doctor what side effects you will have afterwards or check for earlier postings. Once you've done this there is no going back. I had a couple of good years after my UPPP but I am now on CPAP and wish I had done this in the first place

Just be ready for "THE WORST SORE THROAT YOU EVER HAD, FOR TWO WEEKS".
