sick & tired of being sick & tired

Posted by sydney on October 25, 1999 at 14:52:05:

Just need to moan and groan and get some encouragement. Continue to have hurdles thrown up in front of me by my hmo. Recently went for surgical consult to Dr. Riley @ Stanford, now ins. co says he's not a contract provider and we want a 2nd opinion since the surgery recommended is so complex (GGA, HP and septoplasty) I am getting another in a long seige of colds/flus and am not able to use the cpap for the little relief it supplies. Have lodged a formal complaint against my hmo for dragging their feet for so long, 1 and a half yrs now. I know others have also been this route, could use some feedback about the road less travelled or ideas I don't have because my brain is dead, many thanks to all.
