Mine was in 1993 and it wasn't bad. I experienced some improvement. Little pain. I had a difficult time drinking all the fluids they wanted me to drink. If I remember correctly, I just wasn't thirsty.

Perhaps your kids could use a scare. My head was wrapped up almost completely.
