I seem to go through cycles with my back pain. I use a pillow under my knees when I'm on my back or between my legs if I sleep on my side. This helps for awhile and then it begins to make it worse. This week I'm not using the pillow and my back feels better. Soon it will be time to go back to the pillow again.

There are wedges available at the orthopedic supply stores to help you sleep on your back with your knees elevated. This reduces the pressure on your back but doesn't do a thing for you if you want to sleep on your side. Of course once your on your side you have the problem of mask leakage. I'm learning to move around a lot less at night between the two problems.

Have you tried a chiropractor? When things get bad enough, I go in for a tune up and it keeps me going for awhile longer.

Good Luck,

Walt
