The only post-polio symptoms I have are pains in my legs and a weakness in my right leg. Sometimes when I stand it doesn't support me right away. I mentioned polio to my doc when I was diagnosed with OSA and he brushed it off. I forgot to mention it to my pulmonary specialist when I had my sleep test and with I had said something. I feel muscle weakness in one area could very easily show up in another area. This is probably just one more piece to the OSA puzzle. I still feel that a simple non-invasive device like a CPAP machine that solves my problem is a god-send. I'll take it over surgery or pills everytime. I like the KISS principle.
