I went to a neurologist yesterday who eliminated post-polio for me. The neuropathy I have doesn't fit the description of post-polio sydrome symptoms. What he described seems to fit what you have described - muscle pain and weakness especially in the legs. You might want to see a neurologist if you haven't already. Here I go again, I've been referred to a Rhumatologist for the arthritic symptoms. I have been to more different docs in the last 8 months since being diagnosed with OSA than I went to since age 5. Seems like a never-ending enlarging spiral. Oh, well, I hope you can get some help and get back to a normal life again. Best of luck to you.
