When I was diagnosed with sleep apnoia, the doc(one of the apnoia masters in germany) told me to be very carefull with anestesy or opiats when I have a surgery. The natural reactions, like to get awaike when you get out of air, do not work really good. Did your father use his cpap?If not, and in combination with morphine!?
Excuse my broken english!
