Please get a sleep study and have your cpap pressure adjusted and really try to use it every night.
I was diagnosed several years ago. I used the cpap for a couple of weeks then off and on for a couple of months then just forgot it. My life and job suffered. I eventually lost my job because I couldn't stay awake...I thought I was bored.
I got another job and was soon on probation. I sought help with a councelor and was treated for narcolepsy and depression before I got another sleep test and realized that my osa was even more severe than before. So severe I could not tolerate the 22 setting on cpap and eventually got a trach.
Since my trach the depression has almost completely disappeared.
Sleep deprivation can affect you on many levels and many that I don't believe the medical establishment has even discovered yet.
Get a sleep study and keep trying to find a solution that works for you. Aggressively try to find your solution.
