if you don't have an inline cpap-humidifier crank up a room humidifier until you can get one. Keep the humidifier unit away from the cpap air inlet, just having the room moisture up can help. Self-help, counseling, books, tapes, out of work, debt overload, been there, done that. Go ahead and get the cpap working for you, it will help you feel better and give you some sense of regaining control in your life.
