Well, I'm not sure how to lower the machine. My EMT was here yesterday, he didn't know what to do either. I got a new mask, a gold star gel and this morning it wasn't to bad but still puffy. I'm going to call my pulmonary dr. tomorrow and see what he thinks. Not only do I have the cpap on but also have my oxygen connected to it at 2 lilters. Thanks for the advise and will post the results tomorrow. Patti
