Sounds like obstructive sleep apnea or even asthma. I would make her go to doctor and get checked out. Some night she might not wake up to
be able to catch her breath.
I would probably go to a pulmonologist who also specialises in sleep disorders because he can deal with asthma or sleep apnea.
