Thanks for the advice, Mary. You are the first person I've ever spoken with that has this problem. Coincidentally, my cardiologist has told me that I have an enlarged heart with thickness on the left side. I have been on 6 - 40 mgs. of Lasix and 1 - 2.5 mgs of Zaroxolyn plus 2 blood pressure medications (Capoten and Atacand) daily for about a year now. My HMO only covers Lasix, Zaroxolyn and Bumex so I juggle those three diuretics.

I've only been using the CPAP for a few days now and while I haven't noticed any improvement in the swelling or any less fatigue, I'm sure it will just take more time. My machine is only set at 12 for this first month so I may find that it will have to be adjusted up, down the road.

Thanks again for the encouragement.

Lori
