I finally got my insurance to pay for a heated humidifier, so have tried it. Guess what -- it makes me stuffy! I have found that if I just heat the water and then turn it off, I don't get stuffy, but then I need a "reheat" a few hours later. Haven't figured out how to do this yet. Been thinking about trying a timer. Hasn't seemed to make a difference in the ears, but it hasn't been too successful otherwise, either. Thanks
