post septoplasty breathing problems

Posted by sydney on February01, 2000 at 16:23:04:

Had septoplasty friday am, spent all day in hospital as out
patient. Was told after surgery they had some 'problems' intubating, as I have uars. Have had some fairly severe pain, but more noticeably, pain in the center of my chest and pain while breathing. I'm assuming it's irritation and swelling from procedure and have told the dr I can wait to come in... not sure if pain meds are affecting my judgement??? Any feedback appreciated.
