AutoAdjust LT and exhale puffs data

Posted by Alex on February01, 2000 at 22:53:11:

I have a question about the data on exhale puffs on MHAM's site. I know he is using a Mirage FF mask and it still records some exhale puffs, which you would imagine couldn't happen. My question is this a reliable measurement for detecting mouth breathing (leaking) if I am not using a FF mask. I don't have the LT yet, but I wanted to use it to determine for sure if I mouth breathe among other things. (I don't have a dry mouth in the morning and I am using an elastic band over my mouth to keep my lips shut) Would taping the mouth shut give a baseline exhale puffs data (not sure if I am clear enough)
