Posted by mike on February02, 2000 at 05:28:45:i'm a recently diagnosed sleep apnea sufferer and have been using a profile lite mask for a week with my tranquility quest cpap machine. the bridge of my nose became bruised and blistered. i asked my home health care provider if nasal pillows were an option and they replied that my pressure requirements, a 13, were too high for them to seal effectively. they stated that nasal pillows worked best at a pressure of ten or below. is this true? any help or feedback would be appreciated. thanks.
