Day 10 since surgery

Posted by Larry Vanderpool on February02, 2000 at 12:23:01:

Hi Everyone: It is 10 days since I had the UPPP, septoplasty and inferior turbinate cautery. I feel pretty good and I know that I am sleeping better. I have not gotten rid of the sore throat, but was told it would take three or four weeks so guess I am rushing it a little. I am trying to survive on Tylenol extra strength for today only.
Trying to see how I compare to the medication that the doctor gave me. He told me that when this bottle is gone I would then be on Tylenol anyway. It has not been too bad. I notice that the throat is a little more noticible than before but the rest of the surgery seems to take it fine. I will definitely go back to finish the rest of the medications tomorrow and the next day. I am not sure that I
need more prescriptions from today's little test. What is the thinking out there??? Hope everyone is progressing as well as I feel that I am. Take care all.
