The scabs and crud in your nose can take several weeks to come out and the swelling can take a long time to go down. My guess is that you've got a piece of crud blocking your nose and that it will eventually come out. That's what my ENT told me would happen and that's just what did happen.

But why not call your ENT on the phone and ask about it?

PS: I'd cool it on the Afrin. If you have been using it more than 3 days, it's probably what is causing your problem. Use saline nasal spray or a saline solution with a nasal irrigator. Lots of it.

Going from the cold outdoors to warm indoors can also make your nose run and get blocked.
