Charles is absolutely correct about nasal pillows. Your post is the first one of thousands I have read in a year and a half that reports that nasal pillows do not work above a given pressure. Your DME is full of it.

I've found that all too often our choice of equipment is limited to what the DME has on hand, or what they regularly carry, or what they make the most money from. This, combined with the amazing ignorance of the employees about how the equipment works, can drive us users nutz.
