I thought the Sullivan V Elite was very quiet. I've used one of these personally, and have also heard the Sullivan in a sound comparison test with a GoodKnight 413G and an Aria LX. All three were quiet, but I thought the Sullivan V Elite was the most quiet. You can also deaden the sound for any machine by putting it in some kind of enclosure with just enough of an opening to let in air for the CPAP intake, though this won't help with any kind of noise that might travel up the hose. I keep my flow generator inside of a drawer beside the bed, and this makes a quiet machine even more quiet. MHAM
