Well a friend of mine has a bipap and a mirage nasal mask, and uses oxygen with it to boot. No ever told her anything was bad about it. It seems to be working fine for her. Sounds like the tech
you are dealing with is one of those types who will tell you things they don't think you are smart enough to figure out on your own. Find a new tech or DME.
