I fortunely caught on to this a couple of years ago when I first got my machine. The DME supplier absolutely told me that I would have to pay hundreds extra to get a Sullivan Elite rather than the standard unit. Not true. They also told me that they could not get the Elite model. I insisted on the model I wanted with a humidifier and heater. When the time came to convert from a rental to purchase I was given what I had insisted on and charged my share of the fixed price the insurance company pays regardless of which system one receives. BEWARE, the DME suppliers are not always truthful.
