Thyroid still may not be the answer

By all means have the blood tests done. I am a male, and diagnosed about 8 yrs ago as hypo-thyroid. It took almost 2-3 years to get the dosage I liked, but yearly testing has increased the dosage a bit.The main symptoms were always being tired after a good night's sleep, and short term memory loss. The latter started up again after a few years, and eventually testing led me to a c-pap almost 2 yrs ago.
I am also very congested, aand the full face mirage mask seems to really help. Recently, due to stomach and heart problems (all remedied) I altered my diet. Gone are the potato chips/cakes/plates of bacon. Also gone is over 20 lbs in approx 2-3 months. This was not a diet, but just common and good eating habits. Improved is my sleeping, the best since I've been on c-pap.
I suspect things will even improve once I am allowed to exercise in about a month.
It's a real wake-up call to have problems such as these under the age of 50. However things are only looking better.

If you have a doctor reluctant to do the proper tests, get another doc !!
