UPPP Day 7

Posted by Jon From Sydney on February03, 2000 at 21:20:17:

Today I woke up with the killer throat from HELL!! I had forgotten to set my alarm during the night to wake me for water. I slept straight for about 8hrs and when I woke I found that my mouth and throat were very painful. Tonight I will make sure that I set my alarm!
I have noticed that the pain today is actually a little worse than yesterday which would be the 7day pain that I have been told about. It is not as bad as people have said but it definately is worse than yesterday. I had some poached eggs on toast again for lunch today and used just my regular pain killer but made sure that I used the anti-biotics that I have to take.
I noticed that when I got undressed to have a shower, that I had lost a considerable amount of weight. I weighed myself and found that one week ago, before the operation, I weighed 85kgs and today I weigh 76kgs. Is this normal? I used to suck in my stomach a little to look better and now I don't have to because my stomach just sits that far in! I am happy because I did need to lose some weight but it is normal to lose this much? Will it stay off? I hope so!

Have a Great Weekend!!
